Daewon SMT - Company Profile
The Daewon-SMT company was formed in January 2003 from an electronic division of Daewon Europa. The business has traded machinery specialising in SMT technology for the PCB assembly industry since 1997, gaining extensive experience and in depth knowledge of the complex needs of the electronic industry. Today Daewon-SMT is a well known distributor of SMT machinery throughout Europe and North Africa distributing its products in 25 different countries.
Daewon-SMT is now a market leader of products such as pick & place machines, AOI inspection systems, reflow and wave soldering products not just in Italy but also in Spain, Portugal, UK, Germany, Turkey amongst others, building on this success in all other European Community countries and North Africa. To date we have installed more than 1000 pick & place machines, taking care of sales, service assistance and optimization of our client's industrial production.
Daewon SMT can guarantee efficient and just in time assistance and service and we can always help suggest the best technical solution for all our customers needs, due to a very close technical and commercial cooperation with our world market leading suppliers such as Samsung, Mirtec, TSM, DEK and others (we are one of the few SMT distributor in Europe with a second branch office next to our suppliers locations in Seoul, Korea. Since October 2003 we moved to our new offices in Trivolzio (Pavia, Italy) with a large and well equipped demo room of 300 m2. Thus our customers have to possibility to evaluate our products and to carry out any kind of test on our entire products portfolio.
